Due to delays, Ousmane Dembele could return to Barcelona training

While his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain progresses, Ousmane Dembele can unexpectedly return to training with Barcelona next week.

With his daring bid to join the Ligue 1 winners, Dembele seemed certain to relocate to Paris this month.

Xavi has confirmed Dembele’s wish to transfer teams before the season begins, and Barcelona seems to have cut ties with the 26-year-old.

According to reports from Marca, the team will resume training tomorrow after taking a vacation after the USA trip, and Dembele will be brought back into the lineup if a solution cannot be reached.

Dembele should go before the season begins, but he may still represent La Blaugrana in time for the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Tottenham on August 8. Both sides are currently hammering out the exact terms of the deal.
