Trevoh Chalobah continues to garner interest from clubs in the loan market, and RB Leipzig is the most recent club to become involved in the competition.

The Evening Standard and the Daily Mail report that the Bundesliga club is looking for a new center-back on a season-long loan after Lukas Klostermann suffered an injury. The club is reportedly looking for somebody who has previous experience playing as part of a three-person backline to fill the position. Inter Milan and AS Roma are two significant clubs in the running to sign him, although Inter Milan is currently in the driver’s seat.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Chalobah would welcome the opportunity to join the Nerazzurri, but the club is reluctant to pay the loan price of €3 million. They would also want a buy-option, although it is unlikely that Chelsea will agree to their terms for this request.

Chalobah’s future may be tied in with that of Ethan Ampadu, who could be asked to remain with the club at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the campaign. The battle between Spezia and Sassuolo for his signature is ongoing, while Empoli is still in the running for his services.

In the meantime, the potential loan of fellow Academy graduate Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Leverkusen is gaining traction. Multiple news outlets, including the Evening Standard, Sky Sports, and Sky Deutschland, have reported that negotiations have gotten to a more developed state and that there is a willingness from all parties involved to finalize a deal. Although Bayer Leverkusen is interested in including a buy-option in the transfer, Chelsea is reluctant to provide their approval for a permanent move.

The player, who is currently 21 years old, reportedly had attention from as many as twenty different clubs, including Newcastle United and Southampton, as well as Borussia Dortmund; however, after careful thought, The participant will continue to advance with the BayArena.
